and referral hospital located in Othaya, Nyeri County. The hospital is a center of excellence with a 350 bed capacity offering specialized inpatient and outpatient healthcare services to patients from all corners of the country, more so from eleven (11) counties within the Mt. Kenya region. (Nyeri, Muranga, Embu, Karatina, Isiolo, Marsabit, Meru, Tharaka-nithi, Samburu, Nanyuki and Kirinyaga).\n\nThe hospital has the surgical division and the medical division.\n\nThe surgical division: Draws together faculty and staff from several departments (a multi-disciplinary team) to enhance patient care and research.
