This fellowship is designed to train highly skilled specialists capable of delivering comprehensive, holistic, and evidence-based paediatric cardiac care. It also seeks to develop future leaders in paediatric cardiology clinical care, research, education, and health systems strengthening.<\/p><p><b>Expected Learning Outcomes<\/b><br>Upon successful completion of the programme, fellows will be able to diagnose and manage paediatric<br>cardiac conditions, perform key clinical procedures competently, conduct independent research, and<br>provide leadership, mentorship, quality improvement, and professional education in paediatric cardiac<br>care.<\/p><p><b>Mode of Training<\/b><br>Training will be delivered through a blended approach comprising formal lectures, tutorials, supervised clinical practice, bedside teaching, seminars and conferences, practical procedures and demonstrations, simulation-based learning, journal clubs, and morbidity and mortality meetings.<\/p><p><b>Admission Requirements<\/b><br>Applicants must meet the following criteria:<br>1. Hold a Master of Medicine in Paediatrics and Child Health or equivalent qualification from an<br>institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.<br>2. Registered with the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council of Kenya.<br>3. Applicants whose basic medical degree was taught in a language other than English must provide<br>evidence of English proficiency (e.g., TOEFL certificate).<br>4.
