Conflict of Interest Declaration

Conflict of interest is where your own private interests’ conflicts with those of the organization. As a staff member you are supposed to Excuse yourself from any decision making that may create conflict with your private interests.
Disclosure is in writing through filling of the Conflict-of-interest declaration form. 
 
  1. Do not allow relationships with suppliers to influence decisions. 
  2. Refrain from direct use or allowing use of hospital property for anything other than officially approved activities. 
  3. Do not get involved in the hire, supervision management or career planning of any relative. 
  4. Shall not make improper use of position or of confidential information gained in that position to achieve personal interests or direct gain. 
  5. Shall not participate in tender for supply of services to the hospital.
