Mr. Chagara has more than 10 years of experience in applied statistics, strategic planning, performance management, applied research, quality management, polarity management, systems management, Artificial Intelligence, monitoring, and evaluation. Previously worked with Britam General Insurance as a Senior Underwriter before joining KNH as head of Strategy and performance management. He holds a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management) and a Bachelor of Science (Applied Statistics with Computing). 

He is also a Certified Balance Score Card Master Professional and Transformational Leadership & Management in Health (University of Washington, USA), certified Master Professional Monitoring and Evaluation professional (Kenya Institute of Management), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (Institute of Capacity Growth Africa), Certified strategy and innovation Specialist (Strathmore University). 

He is a member of the Kenya Institute of Management, Balanced Scorecard Institute (BSI) and Fellowship International Society for Quality in Health Care (FiSQUA).

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing technical guidance on formulation and implementation of strategies & polices; performance management; establishment of monitoring and evaluation systems; corporate budgeting; development of quality improvement initiatives; risk management co-ordination; and institutionalization of information communication technology for process improvement.
