Establishment KNH FC was established in 1984 and was enrolled in the then Division 4 in the same league that featured Utalii College and former Maziwa FC. The club gained steady raise by ensuring promotion in the next subsequent years to Division 1 in 1993, played in this category and was later promoted to super league in 1998. In 2001 KNH FC gained promotion to the Nationwide League and participated in this league frantically to gain promotion to the PREMIER league BUT unfortunately could not secure the one position. The club was further affected by the new structures which devolved the Nationwide II League back to the counties and KNHFC HAS been participating in the Nairobi Provincial League and last the club finished in position 4 out of 20 teams. KNH-FC has also been participating in the knockout competition.

- The foundation of any soccer club is the academy. Successful clubs like Barcelona, Manchester United, Arsenal, Zamalek, among others, have good academies. KNH FC will start an academy to nurture and mould our own talent. The distinction between our soccer academy and others will be the mentorship programs. We have a rich mix of professionals who will conduct various sessions.
- The place to begin with is our hosts: we will incorporate talented pupils from Statehouse Primary School in the program. However, the big challenge is tapping talent from needy students. In this regard, we propose an academy that takes care of talented children, under 13 years, regardless of their status. This will require a transparent trial program where a variety of coaches choose who should be in the academy, using clearly laid out selection criteria. Our biggest push for fundraising will be towards this programme, which will ensure sustainability of KNH FC. Apart from Mathare United, the big clubs in Kenya don’t have academies. KNH FC will fill this gap. Coupled with academic scholarships for deserving children, these beneficiaries can also be brand ambassadors.
- We plan to start the football clinics in April, August and December holidays football clinic as a stepping stone to a full KNH FC Academy. We will conduct age-group clinics, where youngsters will be coached and taught about football. The clinics will have practical football lessons from KNH FC coaches, nutrition tips from revered nutritionists, and life skills through sharing of experiences from former and current footballers who have excelled.
- Lessons from this will be used to come up with a curriculum that will be used in the football academy.
