CPA Eric Omondi was awarded for exemplary and outstanding contribution to the Accounting profession in Kenya. He is outstanding for his service in tax management, financial reporting, internal audit services and risk management.
He has also contributed immensely to the various legislations in the past such as TPA act 2015, PFM Act 2012, VAT act and other legislation such as the PSASB.
He has also assisted boards in implementing audit strategy and ERM frameworks.
Eric has mentored and trained many accountants both at home and across the borders and has great passion in accounting.

First Class: Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (C.B.S)
On Friday, February 10, 2023, President William Ruto, through a gazette notice, appointed Dr. Samier Muravvej – as KNH new Chairman, replacing Mr George Ooko.
Dr Muravvej said his appointment came as a surprise and an honor as well.
“I’m so grateful to the President, who considered me for this position. It is beyond my wildest dreams as I would never have imagined that an institution where I once gained my education and skills in practicing Dentistry, one day I would return as its chairperson,’ he said.
Also appointed were new board members later on in the year.
