KNH Patient Innovation Challenge 2022-2023

Do you have an innovative project idea to improve how patient care is delivered or facilitated at Kenyatta National Hospital? If yes, we are inviting you to apply for funding to support implementation of a PATIENTS FIRST INNOVATION CHALLENGE project.

Priority areas include
  • Improving patient care outcomes
  • Supporting care delivery process
  • Innovative tools, technologies, or digital health approaches to improve patient care
Eligibility
  • KNH Personnel or affiliated to KNH
  • The idea should be original and likely to influence the practice of patient care
  • Setting must be KNH or relevant to KNH
Awards are upto ksh.400,000.00 per project

Application Guidelines
Concept note that includes:
  1. Problem statement.
  2. Proposed innovation or innovative solution to address the problem.
  3. Expected outcomes and key milestones
  4. Budget based on proposed activities and resources required.
NB: We have defined Innovation as the creation, development and implementation of a new product, process or service, with the aim of improving how we deliver healthcare.
